Much like the El Cortez’ boarding pass promotion, the Club One properties offer some compelling deals if you present a boarding pass from select airlines within 24 hours of landing (no stay required).
If you flew Southwest, Spirit, or Allegiant, you’re eligible for $50 of match play… for free! (more…)

The D Match Play
Sometimes the best kept secrets are right there in front of you, and you just have to be in the know enough to ask. That’s definitely the case at one of my favorite downtown grind joints, as even *I* was surprised to discover my last trip.
Although many may underestimate the yellow-tinted and heavily-perfumed dive, it turns out they offer one of the best free deals in Las Vegas!
The El Cortez has an excellent deal (that amounts to about $40 worth of match play, free play, and drinks) if you show the player’s club a boarding pass from any airline within 24 hours of landing.

I’ve never been one for Black Friday shopping, since I much prefer to sleep off my overindulgence from the comforts of my bed. I do make one exception, though: the Vegas.com Holiday Cyber Sale.
Vegas.com is back at it again this year, offering a $50 credit with any purchase made between November 25 and December 2.
If my years of value hunting in Las Vegas have taught me one thing, it’s that you’ve got to smoke ’em when you’ve got ’em. And this is a smoking deal.
Read on to find out how to exploit this promotion for the maximum value.

DEAL ALERT: Vegas.com Holiday Cyber Sale ($50 Promo Code)
One of the many beautiful things about Las Vegas is that time doesn't really matter; it may or may not be 5 o'clock somewhere, but nobody's keeping track in Vegas…
One of my favorite parts of Las Vegas is all of the comped drinks. Which is short for complimentary drinks. Which is casino jargon for free drinks.
You read that right: free drinks.
Need I say more? Probably not, but it wouldn’t be Viva Las Value without a long-winded geeky explanation, so let’s talk more about the best way to maximize your (drinking) value in Las Vegas!

Las Vegas is full of deals - as long as you know where to look! Check out some of my favorite Las Vegas deals, including: myVEGAS - earn free food,…
myVEGAS is one of my favorite ways to get FREE rooms, meals, and shows in Las Vegas. The best part is that you don’t have to gamble any real money to do it, and you can earn rewards by playing games from home before your trip!

Groupon is a popular third-party booking website, where you can buy discounted deals for Las Vegas bars, restaurants, shows, attractions, services, and experiences. These deals are called Groupons, and can be redeemed just like a voucher once you get to the establishment.

Las Vegas Advisor (LVA) is currently running an EXCELLENT promotion in partnership with Draft Kings that can net you a 2019 LVA Member Rewards Book (MRB) — and some other goodies — for only $5!
The LVA Member Rewards Book is chock full of coupons and freeplay. Check out my post on the LVA for an overview. It pays for itself many times over, and is one of the best value plays in Las Vegas (it netted me over $250 in 2016). The MRB is a great value at it’s retail price of $37; it’s absolute steal for $5.
$5? For a $37 coupon book?! I’m no math major, but that’s 85% off!

Vegas.com is an excellent resource for researching and/or booking competitively priced hotels, attractions, and show tickets before you even land in Las Vegas. I often use Vegas.com as a starting point for planning Vegas possibilities and getting a rough idea of what hotel prices look like. While you can usually save a couple extra bucks following some of the more advanced tips that I preach, Vegas.com is my recommended catch-all starting point, particularly if you’re new to Vegas or want a decent deal without all the hassle.
Vegas.com has also offered an amazing Black Friday sale in 2018 and 2019, where they gave you a $50 promo with any purchase. Here’s to hoping they continue this promotion into the next decade!
